A 'Spellbound' Halloween Paper Bag Mini Album

Hello fellow crafters! Yes, I know. It's been a while; however, I'm still around. I've simply been laying low these past few months.

I've been wanting to make a mini album for the longest time & finally got around to it. Today I bring this Halloween themed paper bag mini album. I've created this type of album in the past. Only difference is that I've used larger black paper bags this time.

This little album is available for sale in my Etsy shop: The Midnight Kraft Desk.

Papers used to make this album is the 'Spellbound' collection by Fancy Pants Designs

The album itself measures 5" x 5" inches with two 1 1/4" inch spines. Please take note, the height measurement does not include the decorations on the lid. Speaking of the lid; the lid is decorated with a small black owl, mini pinecone, mulberry paper & organza flowers & a Halloween berry pick.

In addition to the 'Spellbound' paper pack, I used a digital paper pack design from another fellow Etsy shop-YourPaperStash. You can access the 'Pink Halloween Digital Paper Pack' collection here.

I did alter the color of the digital papers a bit to match the color scheme of the album.

The lid keeps the album closed. When the lid is removed, you have a gatefold front cover.

The album consists of six (6) paper bags providing six pages with six pockets and six expanding pockets.

I added several of the journaling cards as elements that flip open providing additional room for storing photos and/or journaling.

I left the expanding pockets empty. These pockets are excellent for storing several photos of different sizes, documents, keepsakes & any other memorabilia.

As mentioned previously, I've done this type of album in the past. I used the tutorial found here as inspiration for these albums. For the 'Spellbound' album, I did alter the measurements in the tutorial to accommodate the larger paper bags that were used for this project.

Below is a video walk through of the album.  Thanks for stopping by!
